Where:

University of Phoenix campus in Pleasanton, 7901 Stoneridge Dr. Suite 100

Event Description

Come and see the key features of Vista and .NET 3.0 that affect us as developers including Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) and CardSpace. Beth Massi, David Klitzke, and Deborah Kurata will be providing an in-depth look at these technologies with lots of demos and sample code.

The meeting will start with a look at the many different things you can do with WPF to build Windows applications that look stunning and provide a rich user experience. This includes details on building WPF applications with Visual Studio.

We'll then go over how WCF provides interoperability, productivity and service-oriented development to developers. WCF unifies current technologies for building distributed applications and enables you to easily build services that speak advanced web service protocols enabling your applications to interoperate easily with other platforms.

Please join us for this exciting event!

Food will be served. Bring your appetites not only for WPF and WCF but also for REAL FOOD!
